8  Templates

Overleaf provides a wide range of templates for different types of documents. You can also create your own custom templates or modify existing ones to suit your specific needs.

You can see available templates when you click “New Project” and then in the pop-up menu you can click either “Harvard University” under the “Institution Templates” heading, or any of the general Overleaf templates listed under the “Templates” heading.

Some of the templates that are included with your Overleaf Premium subscription through Harvard are:

• Dissertation and thesis
• Article
• Letter
• Beamer presentation
• General text document

More general Overleaf templates include:
